Description

Heavy Highway Construction professionals build the infrastructure, working on roads, bridges and ports, otherwise called non-building construction. A trained heavy highway construction worker needs math skills and knowledge of heavy equipment operations, safety, earthmoving, hand tools and traffic regulations. To help trainees get started in the industry, the Heavy Highway program provides a new Heavy Highway Helper credential. Overall, completing the two level program results in several credentials: Core Curriculum Basic Safety Heavy Highway Construction Level 1 Basic Rigger Signal Person Heavy Highway Construction Level 2 Heavy Highway Helper
